Vimec has been specialising since 1980 in the design and construction of stair lifts, stair climbers and lifts to overcome architectural barriers, improve access to both private and public buildings, guarantee mobility around the home and ensure domestic convenience and wellbeing for those wishing to get around their homes with ease and convenience.
Today, Vimec's wide product range has brought it leadership on the Italian market, and it is also well-known and well-established on the international markets, with trading subsidiaries in Spain, France, Great Britain and Poland; its products are also distributed in Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Latin American and China.
The foundations of its continuous growth are constant investments in innovation, research, quality and safety, of both the product and the working methods used within the company.
With a work-force of more than 200, a network of experts ready to provide you with the best advice, and a full after-sales service network throughout Italy and in various areas within Europe and beyond, VIMEC is able to build systems to measure for each customer's needs.
Vimec's production facilities occupy an area of more than 35,000 sq.m., of which 20,000 house the operating centres and production plants.
The Mobile Stair Climber Division

To guide and assist the user from choice to delivery of their mobile stair climber, Vimec has created its Mobile Stair Climber Division (Divisione Montascale Mobili - DMM), comprising a teach of expert professionals, able to provide:
· a professional fact-finding visit to check the functions required and identify the most suitable mobile stair climber
· training for carers in the use of the mobile stair climber
· after-sales service provided by Technical Service Centres.

All products comply with the European Directives, and thus carry the CE mark.
To assure this, Vimec has voluntarily opted to have the conformity of all its products certified by notified bodies (TÜV and IMQ).
This commitment to quality is also confirmed by the fact that Vimec was the first Italian company in its sector to achieve UNI EN ISO 9001 Corporate Quality Certification, issued by DNV (Det Norske Veritas) and renewed under Vision 2000.
Value for PARTNERS, with the PSP service
PSP stands for Partner Support Program, a Vimec exclusive for its partners, aiming to supply each of them, all over the world, with a series of personalised tools for developing their business and offering the end user a better and better service.
This program includes specific classroom training courses and training in the field for sales staff and engineers, analysis and assistance for the development of the most appropriate market strategies, and backup for the organisation of seminars (e.g. for architects, civil engineering firms, etc.) and for participation at trade fairs.
